Company History
2002
In 2002, Chukyo (Thailand) Co., Ltd. was first launched on 3rd of May, 2002 by Mr.Kazuhisa Kasuya and Ms.Lakkana Korvanichkul. It located in the center of Sukhumvit. In the early, we started distributing Cutting Tools (PCD, CBN), which were imported from Chukyo (Japan) Co., Ltd., and our main customers were mostly in the automotive industry. Later, we have begun to import the machinery and provided the sharpening services, transforming diamonds services, etc.
2007
In 2007, Chukyo (Thailand) Co., Ltd. was growing rapidly and expanded its production base. By this year, we moved our company to a 6-storey building on Chan-Silom Road and added more machines for Wire Cut and Semi-CNC Grinding.
2011
In 2011, Thailand had devasting floods which affected widely to Thai economy. Even though Thai industrial sector had a difficult time through the crisis, we had a well-planned planning to cope with the situation and were able to help our clients to pass through the crisis together.
2015
In 2015, Chukyo (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has expanded its production base once again with starting to manufacture new products and launch full-serviced sharpening tasks. By this year, we have moved our company to Rangsit Industrial Estate and added more machines into our factory, such as two wire cutting machines, two CNC grinding machines, lathe machines, grinding machines, etc.
2016
In 2016, Chukyo (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has restructured a company’s management when Mr.Kazuhisa Kasuya who is the first president of the company retired by this year, and Mr.Toshihiro Kawase has taken position as the next president.
2017
In 2017, Chukyo (Thailand) Co., Ltd. participated in the METALEX exhibition and has launched our new products including CAL Cutter and Eco Helix.
2018
In 2018, Chukyo (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has been continuously growing and gaining the reliability from our clients in the well-known good quality of products and services, which caused the achievement of our highest sales and profits since the company was established. In the same year, Chukyo (Japan) Co., Ltd., has launched the new products including MCD Insert, Small Boring Bite and the new CAL Cutter model, which the CAL MAX model was able to be more attractive to our customers.
2019
In 2019, the world was affected by the pandemic crisis of Covid-19, which caused the global economy recession. Even though we were affected by the crisis and our company's sales dropped by more than half, we have planned and modified the working system adapting to the new normal era. We also have never stopped providing services and have always been ready to help our customers. Through the crisis, our company had no policy to close and was managed to deliver all the works to customers on time.
2020
In 2020, the world still was affected by the pandemic crisis of Covid-19, which caused the global economy recession. we have successfully modified the working system adapting to the new normal era.
2021
In 2021, while the pandemic crisis of Covid-19 was becoming better, we have started to keep an eye on the Thai automobile industry that has tended to market the Electric Vehicles (EV) for becoming a market share.
2022
In 2022, Chukyo (Thailand) Co., Ltd. celebrated its 20th Anniversary and celebrated a new factory celebration ceremony in Japan. The original factory was demolished, and the new factory was built consistently with the environmental policy by installing solar panels as the main energy of the whole factory.
2023
In 2023, Chukyo Co., Ltd. has grown by achieving the next level of launching our business as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), which has upgraded our factory with the international standard certification marks.
2024
Chukyo (Thailand) Co., Ltd has been added a new production line in the Drill, Remer product group, including the WALTER CNC Grinding Machine model Helitronic Power Diamond 400, to support more variety of work and customer service.
